Cuando me dan ganas de pintar, pinto desde el celular. A veces empiezo con una fotografía; otras, con una impresión térmica, un dibujo o con algo físico que tengo cerca.

Después vuelvo a fotografiarlo. Uso el teléfono para acercarme, recortar, pegar otras imágenes, buscar archivos antiguos o imágenes que circulan, moverme dentro de la imagen y encontrar otras posibilidades de pintura.

No es una técnica fija: es una forma híbrida de entretenerme, probar cosas y seguir pintando.

Este archivo se mueve conmigo. Cada imagen que subo desde el teléfono entra aquí como una pintura nueva: le doy un nombre, aparece en el archivo, puedo volver a verla en detalle y decidir qué hacer después con ella. Si una imagen me interesa, puede seguir en el taller para continuar trabajándola.

When I feel like painting, I paint from my phone. Sometimes I begin with a photograph; other times with a thermal print, a drawing, or with a physical thing I have nearby.

Then I photograph it again. I use the phone to get closer, crop, combine other images, search through old files or images in circulation, move through the image, and find other painting possibilities.

It is not a fixed technique: it is a hybrid way to entertain myself, try things, and keep painting.

This archive moves with me. Every image I upload from my phone enters here as a new painting: I give it a name, it appears in the archive, I can look at it again in detail, and decide what to do with it next. If an image interests me, it can continue in the studio and keep being worked on.
